Fran Roberts
PhD, RN, FAAN
Fran Roberts joined the DeVry Inc. Healthcare Group in January 2011 as Group Vice President for Strategic Alliances. She has previously held leadership positions with Grand Canyon University, the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, the Healthcare Institute, and the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Dr. Roberts is a Fellow in the prestigious American Academy of Nursing. She has two Bachelor of Science degrees from Elmhurst College in Illinois, one in nursing and the other in psychology. She received her Master of Science degree from Arizona State University in community mental health/psychiatric nursing and is a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Dr. Roberts' PhD is in nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Roberts serves on the boards of directors for Carondelet Health Network, Mercy Care Plan, and the Presbyterian Central New Mexico Health System. Past roles include president of the Alumni Board of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Executive Nurse Fellows Program, Chair of the Arizona Nurses Association Foundation Council of Trustees, and she served on the American Hospital Association's Commission on Workforce for Hospitals and Health Systems.
